What: Renewable Diesel Working Group
When: Wednesday, April 10th, 2024
1:00 pm- Zoom link will be provided!
Renewable Diesel is a cleaner burning fuel that reduces greenhouse gas emissions and improves air quality. This fuel is also being produced in Montana and Wyoming, which further eliminates emissions in the transport of the fuel. Renewable diesel is NOT biodiesel but is chemically equivalent to diesel, proving to be a true drop-in fuel for any diesel vehicle.
Currently there are several fleets in Idaho, Montana and Wyoming utilizing the fuel and it is available at the Shell station in Jackson, WY and at Conrad & Bischoff in Nampa, ID.
YTCC has had several meetings, webinars and conversations about the fuel over the last year. To facilitate even greater use of renewable diesel in our region YTCC is launching a monthly Renewable Diesel working group creating a space for fleet-to-fleet and peer-to-peer learning, best practices, and FAQs to be answered.
All entities and individuals with an interest in the fuel are invited to join!
You can view the recording of the first meeting HERE on YTCC’s YouTube channel.
