“Coffee with a Researcher” EEMS Webinar Series

April 19, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

NREL is launching a “Coffee with a Researcher” Energy Efficient Mobility Systems (EEMS) webinar series to connect Clean Cities coordinators and their stakeholders to EEMS core capabilities.

Register now for the first webinar in the series featuring the OpenPATH tool with K. Shankari of NREL. This webinar is open to stakeholders, and you are encouraged to invite local government or nonprofit partners that are interested in shifting and tracking travel patterns.

This conversational webinar series will create mutually beneficial connections between Clean Cities coalitions and EEMS researchers at DOE national laboratories. The sessions will highlight available EEMS tools, how they work, and help coordinators identify local and regional partners and projects that might benefit most from these capabilities. Clean Cities coalitions are in a unique position to describe the mobility priorities and challenges in their communities, which researchers can use to enhance EEMS research.

Goals of the series:

  • Increase visibility and understanding of new EEMS research and tools for Clean Cities coalitions
  • Showcase real-world applications of EEMS research and insights and the key stakeholders that might engage in various research areas
  • Provide EEMS researchers with community-level insights to enhance their work
  • Refine NREL and DOE understanding of challenges coalitions face when developing EEMS projects
  • Brainstorm ideas for the advancement of EEMS resources, tools, and research
  • Identify coalitions that are interested in partnering on projects to use or further develop certain capabilities.

Stay tuned for future “Coffee with a Researcher” EEMS webinars. For more information, contact Lauren Reichelt.
