We’re hosting an electric school bus discussion on Monday, December 16th at 10:00 am to help support any school district that is interested in electric school buses but has more questions about the vehicles, charging, procurement process, or more. We’re keeping this discussion to Wyoming and Montana so we can be more focused and candid in our conversation.

ZOOM REGISTRATION:
The timing of this discussion is related to the EPA Clean School Bus Rebate program, currently open and closing on January 9th. Those interested in applying for the funding can have their questions answered on Monday and then will still have time to complete the rebate application by the deadline. YTCC can support districts with you application and some districts have grant writers on staff as well.
Those committed to be in attendance to help answer questions are listed below. If others have expertise in electric school buses in WY and MT and would like to be added to this list, please let me know.
Paul Wilson, Fairfield Public Schools, MT; Transportation Director
Jason Cardenas, Elder Equipment, Casper, WY
Neal Ullman, Energy Resource Professional, Montana Department of Environmental Quality (has awarded several state grants for alternative fuel school buses to school districts in Montana)
Trenton Vonburg, State Pupil Transportation Director, Wyoming Department of Education (invited not confirmed)

Our project manager put together a case study for Havre, MT, if you would like some information about electric school buses in cold climates.
Please share this with others you think may be interested in attending. Thank you and we hope to see you on Monday!
